You be the boss!

After finishing the beloved Bed Jacket (which is sadly hanging in my closet until the next chill, which I hope to feel soon... even though it's only June, sigh), I'm having trouble deciding what to knit next.

I'd like to use yarn that I already possess, gas prices have really kicked me in the bum, so I'd like to be reserve with my funds. So, I'm asking everyone to help me choose my next project. Here are three knits from the book that meet my criteria, just leave a comment with what you'd like to see me knit and I'll tally them up! Let's make July 4th the deadline, so pick away!

  1. Cotton Camisole, by Jennie Atkinson, pages 12-17
  2. Beaded Cape, by J. A., pages 18-21
  3. Butterfly Dress, by J. A., pages 22-27

Thanks!

The deed, it is done

The lace is much more daunting than it seems... slow going, but it's that final touch that really makes this finished Bed Jacket such a wonderful piece. Here are some stats:

The Bed Jacket
Yarn: Farmhouse Yarns Silk Spun Cotton (I don't think they're making it anymore), 7 skeins (200 yards/100 grams)
Needles: US 8 24" circular
Time: Mid-April to June 20, 2007
Customs: None, I stuck to the pattern on this one.

On to the photos!
